Aly Michalka (Easy A) has booked a recurring role on the CW drama series iZombie, from Warner Bros TV. Based on the DC comic, iZombie is a supernatural crime procedural that centers on med student-turned-zombie Olivia “Liv” Moore (Rose McIver), who takes a job in the coroner’s office to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat to maintain her humanity. But with each brain she consumes, she inherits the corpse’s memories. With the help of her medical examiner boss and a police detective, she solves homicide cases in order to quiet the disturbing voices in her head. Michalka will play Peyton, Liv’s best friend. This was a series regular role, played by Alexandra Krosney in the pilot, and changed to recurring.

Michael Beach (Sons Of Anarchy, Third Watch) has been tapped for a recurring role on ABC drama series Secrets & Lies from producer Aaron Kaplan and director Charles McDougall. Based on an Australian series, Secrets & Lies stars Ryan Phillippe as a family man who finds the body of a young boy and quickly becomes the prime murder suspect. Beach, repped by Global Artists and More/Medavoy Management, will play Jim Fenton, a charming, genuine, trustworthy guy who can make anyone feel at ease.
