EXCLUSIVE: Paramount is in talks with Akiva Goldsman to write the next draft of the horror franchise, which will be called The Ring 3. The Oscar winning scribe recently did a rewrite of Insurgent, the sequel to the Lionsgate franchise hit Divergent. Based on the novel by Koji Suzuki, the film was first scripted by David Loucka, and Mean Creek's Jacob Estes did a substantial amount of work on the most recent draft, which convinced Paramount to make the film. with F.
