Sharknado 2: The Second One will be chomping its way through the San Diego Convention Center as part of Syfy‘s presence at Comic-Con.  While the panel on Thursday, July 24 will occur days before its July 30 premiere, there isn’t any announcement about a screening for the cult TV movie, a treat that TCA reporters are getting prior to Comic-Con.  Also missing from the Syfy Comic-Con sked, but not from their TCA sked: The TV adaptation of Terry Gilliam’s 1995 time travel film 12 Monkeys.  None the less, a slew of Sharknado stars will be present in Room 6BCF from 7:15-8:15 PM including  Ian Ziering (Fin Shepard), Tara Reid (April Wexler), Vivica A. Fox (Skye), Kari Wuhrer (Ellen Shepard Brody), Judah Friedlander (Bryan) and director Anthony C. Ferrante.

dominionIn addition, Syfy will be hosting a panel for their Archangel Gabriel apocalypse series Dominion on Friday, July 25 in room 6DE, 5:30 – 6:30 PM with series’ thesps Chris Egan (Alex Lannon), Tom Wisdom (Archangel Michael), Roxanne McKee (Claire Riesen), Alan Dale (General Riesen), Anthony Stewart Head (Senator David Whele) and EP Vaun Wilmott.

Syfy’s Saturday offerings at the Hilton Bayfront Hotel include the Helix cast from 12-1 PM and Defiance cast dishing out on season 2 from 1-2PM, both in the Indigo room.  Space voyage series Ascension will make its debut at Comic-Con in Room 6DE from 3:15-4:15 PM with actors Tricia Helfer, Brian Van Holt, Andrea Roth and EP Philip Levens.
Announced earlier today, CBS TV Studios will be making its footprint at the Con on Thursday July 24, starting with the second year return of  post-apocalyptic series Under the Dome in Ballroom 20, 11:15 AM-12 Noon.  Actors Mike Vogel, Dean Norris, Rachelle Lefevre, Alexander Koch, Colin Fordand Eddie Cahill and EP Neal Baer will be in attendance.
Scorpion part of CBS schedule at Comic-Con 2014The exclusive screening and panel for CBS frosh fall drama Scorpion follows from 12:05-1:10 PM.  Scorpion is based on the true story of genius Walter O’Brien who created a company to defend the planet against high-tech threats. The real-life O’Brien will be discussing the show with stars Elyes Gabel, Robert Patrick, Katharine McPhee and EPs Nick Santora, Nicholas Wootton, Alex Kurtzman,Roberto Orci and Justin Lin.
Lastly, from 1:15-2 PM, there will be a season 2 sneak preview and panel for CW’s Mary, Queen of Scots series Reign with Adelaide Kane, Megan Follows and Toby Regbo, along with EP Laurie McCarthy.
