Steve Pink (Accepted, Hot Tub Time Machine) has been tapped to direct Disney’s Overnight, about a father and son who win an inaugural sleepover in a toy store the same night thieves decide to rob it. This is the project that’s been described as “Home Alone in a toy store.” Pink and writing partner Jeff Morris are currently penning The Yank for TriStar. Pink most recently helmed the comedy remake About Last Night and has the sequel Hot Tub Time Machine 2 hitting screens this Christmas for MGM and Paramount. He’s also attached to the Anna Faris-Chris Pratt pic Vacation Friends at Fox. Overnight, formerly known as Overnight On 42nd Street was courting Ruben Fleischer back in February. Pink is repped by UTA, Mosaic and Morris Yorn Barnes. Morris is repped by UTA and Principato Young.
