Maybe the release yesterday of Brooklyn Decker‘s naked Funny or Die spoof with her Friends With Better Lives co-stars Zoe Lister-Jones and Majandra Delfino helped — the midseason CBS comedy got a 12% ratings bump last night to a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating as FWBL and fellow recent CBS addition Bad Teacher have this and next week to make their case for renewal. Also up double digits from last week was FWBL lead-out Mike & Molly (2.2, up 16%), which featured the return of guest star Susan Sarandon. Completing the “up” night for CBS’ Monday originals was 8 PM anchor 2 Broke Girls (2.2), which grew a tenth. (The network aired The Big Bang Theory and Person Of Interest reruns at 9:30 PM and 10 PM, respectively.)
The second season finale of Fox’s The Following (1.5) was up a tenth from last week despite having a Bones repeat (0.9) lead-in vs. an original (1.4) last Monday. After a bumpy start, the thriller closed out the season with seven consecutive weeks of no ratings drops. Still, the second season finale was down 35% from last year’s closer. ABC’s Dancing With The Stars (2.4) was up 9% from last week to post its best number since the season premiere, while Castle (1.9) was up a tenth. Also inching up a tenth from its fast national last week was NBC’s The Voice (3.0), while The Blacklist (2.7) was down a tenth. NBC won the night in 18-49 (2.9), ABC was tops in total viewers (13.4 million). The CW’s Star-Crossed (0.3) and The Tomorrow People (0.3) both were flat with last week, tying lows.
