Edwina Findley (Treme) has landed a role in director Etan Cohen’s Get Hard for Warner Bros. When millionaire hedge fund manager James King (Will Ferrell) is nailed for fraud and bound for a stretch in San Quentin, the judge gives him 30 days to get his affairs in order. Desperate, he turns to Darnell Lewis (Kevin Hart) to prep him for a life behind bars. But despite James’ one-percenter assumptions, Darnell is a hard-working small business owner who has never received a parking ticket, let alone been to prison. Findley will play Rita Hudson – mother, nurse, and wife to Hart, and for whom she frequently needs to explain and spell out the obvious. Her feature credits include Middle of Nowhere and Insidious: Chapter 2, and she recurred on HBO’s Treme. Findley is repped by APA and Silver Lining Entertainment.
Olivia Luccardi has joined the cast of the untitled Gerardo Naranjo feature from Lola Pictures. She will play Rebecca, a roadie who befriends Vienna (Dakota Fanning) as she travels on a journey of self-discovery while on tour with a punk band in the 1980s. The film is slated to begin shooting this month. Luccardi appeared on Girls and recently finished shooting the feature It Follows. She is managed by One Entertainment.
