idoltop13First the good news — Fox’s American Idol won’t have to face Olympics coverage for another four years (assuming the singing competition sticks around that long.) Now the bad news. In its last showing against the Sochi games last night, Idol (2.4 in adults 18-49) hit its lowest rating ever on any night. It was down 8% from Wednesday and down 17% from last Thursday. New drama Rake (1.0) also continued to slide, hitting a new low.

The finale of ABC’s The Taste (0.9) was flat, tying a series low.
