Archstone Distribution will bow Anthony DiBlasi’s horror-thriller day-and-date in cinemas and on demand. It will open October 11 in three cities including Los Angeles and New York before expanding to five to seven other markets the following week. Cassadaga centers on a deaf artist (Kelen Coleman) who tries to contact with her dead sister via seance but instead unleashes the vengeful ghost of a murdered woman, leading to a showdown with a serial killer who turns his victims into human marionettes. Louise Fletcher, Rus Blackwell and Lucas Beck co-star in the pic written and produced by Scott Poiley and Bruce Wood. Starz Digital Media is handling the digital distribution. DiBlasi is repped by APA and Myman Abel.
