Naomi Watts and Robin Wright are BFFs who become romantically entangled with each others’ son in Anne Fontaine’s (Coco Before Chanel) English-language debut. Oscar-winning writer Christopher Hampton (Dangerous Liaisons) adapted the script from Doris Lessing’s novella (and ostensibly not from SNL‘s Motherlover skit). Adore debuted at Sundance under the title Two Mothers. Exclusive Media will release the pic in theaters and on demand September 6. Here’s the trailer:

If anyone took two seconds to see this – or read the Doris Lessing book – it’s actually about a lot more than cougar sexiness. It’s a pretty interesting comment on female empowerment and intimacy. Just saying.
Yeah because it’s really empowering to fuck your best friend’s son who’ll quickly dump you for a girl a third your age. This movie is strictly for the pedarests out there and judging by all the news reports of female teachers screwing their teen students there are a lot of them.

Who thought they would do a film over SNL skit Motherlover :) Why Justin Timberlake is not in this movie?
Trailer felt kind of… empty. I just stared at how hot everyone were. But I felt no connection to characters. They didn’t feel alive. Some two hot young male bodies. I guess acting was not required from them. And Robin and Naomi looked… sad and depressing. And that’s it. I don’t think movie is any good.
I know its adapted from some novella. Funny but it’s really feels like they saw that SNL Timberlake song and decided to create movie about mothers and sons who sleep with each other and then they forget that there has to be a script around it.
