I think you’re right, now that I’ve played it back in slo mo. Alas, the potential for this show is limitless (except on a episode to episode budget), Heroes for Hire, Marvel Knights, and maybe the Fearless Defenders could definitely work with the parameters of this show.
I see they shot some scenes at LA’s Union Station.

I hope this is no indication of the show. Hate to say this, but Heroes Season 1 looked 100 times better than this.

I don’t know what people are complaining about. I wasn’t looking forward to this and now I am. I don’t think the visuals looked shoddy at all. It looks much cooler than I expected.

Between this and Almost Human on FOX, it looks like sci-fi and super-heroes are covered this season. The real question is how long can they sustain the quality beyond the pilot?

Either Coulson was close to death and SHIELD possesses technology that can repair even vital tissue, neurons (brain cells), etc. or the “Coulson” that Loki impaled in the Avengers was indeed an LMD, which Tony Stark joked about earlier in the film (perhaps a form of foreshadowing? We won’t know until it is explained how Coulson survived).
