Former longtime WME agent Sean Elliott and manager Stuart Wrede have joined Authentic Talent & Literary Management as the firm continues to grow under founder and CEO Jon Rubinstein. Wrede, who was head of development for Barry Levinson’s company before moving into the rep world at Cinetic Media, will bring along his clients including Brad Carpenter (Boardwalk Empire, Nurse Jackie); John Buffalo Mailer, whose feature Hello Herman is due out June 7; and director Voula Wolf Duval, currently prepping to shoot the feature Trophy Wife. During Elliott’s 14-year tenure at WME, his clients included Russell Brand, Casey Affleck, Chris Lilley, Stephen Mangan and James Marsden. He will be based out of Authentic’s LA office but it’s unclear right now who’s coming along with him. “I’m so excited to have Sean and Stuart join our team at Authentic”, Rubenstein said in announcing the deal. “They’re both extraordinary, passionate, respected team players who are fiercely committed to furthering Authentic’s mission in the world while doing top-notch work for our amazing clients”.

Authentic’s current clients include America Ferrera, Michael C. Hall, Peter Sarsgaard, Robert Carlyle, Rosie Perez, Tom Hiddleston, Vera Farmiga, Brooklyn Decker, Daymond John, Cristin Milioti, Anna Camp, Meg Ryan, and Annabella Sciorra. The firm recently signed a 10-year lease to move its office space to a Brooklyn address that is also home to the IFP/Made in NY Media Center. It is moving into new, larger LA office space later this year.
