Adam Scott won the 2013 Masters Golf tournament Sunday at a soggy Augusta National and CBS scored too. As Scoot and Angel Cabrera battled it out on the extra holes playoff the network’s coverage of the final round was up 25% over last year. Starting at 2 PM ET, the broadcast received a 10.2/21 average household ratings/share in metered markets according to Nielsen. The 2012 Masters final got an 8.1/9 in metered markets on April 8 last year. The all time Masters final round household high was 1997’s 14.1/31 when Tiger Woods won his first Masters. Running 56 minutes into CBS’ primetime in the East Coast and Central time zones, this year’s final round hit a ratings peak of 13.4/25 from 7 to 7:30 PM ET. On Saturday, CBS’ coverage pulled in an average household of 6.3/15. That’s up 24% from last year’s second to last day result of 5.1/12 in metered markets.
