Neal Bledsoe has booked a lead role opposite Blair Underwood in NBC’s drama pilot Ironside. The reboot of the 1967 series, written by Mike Caleo and directed by peter Horton, centers on Robert T. Ironside (Underwood), a tough, sexy and acerbic police detective relegated to a wheelchair after a shooting who is hardly limited by his disability as he pushes and prods his hand-picked team to solve the most difficult cases. Bledsoe, repped by Brillstein and Abrams Artists, will play the wealthy and highly educated Teddy who became a cop following a family tragedy.

Teen actors Eli Baker and Ava Deluca-Verley are set to star opposite J.K. Simmons and Parker Posey in NBC‘s DJ Nashcomedy pilot, about Henry (Baker), a son who idolizes his blind father (Simmons) and is bemused by his mother’s (Posey) newfound adolescence and who watches his family come closer together post-divorce. Deluca-Verley, repped by CESD and Intellectual Artists Management, will play Henry’s sister. Baker is with CESD.
