Henry Colman, producer of such television series as The Love Boat and Hotel, has died. Colman passed away of natural causes on November 7 in Venice, California, according to his family. He was 89. Colman, a Pennsylvania native, began his career in live television in the early 1950s, working on Robert Montgomery Presents and Kraft Television Theater. He later worked as an an associate producer on Dr. Kildare and Peyton Place and as an executive producer with CBS supervising such shows as The Beverly Hillbillies and Green Acres. In the 1970s, Colman became VP of Current Programming for Paramount Television, overseeing such programs as The Odd Couple and Love American Style. He later held a similar position at Screen Gems Television. His other credits include the TV movies Who Is The Black Dahlia?, Body Of Evidence, The Rape Of Dr. Willis, and Parent Trap III.
