(Los Angeles, CA, September 5, 2012) – Cinedigm Entertainment Group (“CEG”), a division of Cinedigm Digital Cinema Corp. (NASDAQ: CIDM) has named Jeff Reichert Vice-President of Theatrical Marketing and Stephanie Bruder Vice-President of Marketing. The announcement marks the completion of top-level executive appointments that included the recent announcement of Vincent Scordino as Vice President of Acquisitions. With these moves, CEG is positioned to make major inroads in the theatrical distribution marketplace with a plan to acquire and release up to 24 titles in 2013. The CEG team will be actively looking for titles at this year’s Toronto Film Festival.
CEG was formed when Cinedigm acquired entertainment distributor New Video, the largest worldwide digital aggregator of independent content, and combined the acquisition with the company’s existing theatrical distribution business. Together, CEG provides full service end-to-end digital releasing for content creators, enabling the company to acquire and distribute independent films and specialty content both theatrically and through digital, mobile and home media platforms. Cinedigm has deployed over 11,000 digital cinema screens, with over 240 partners, making it the world-wide leader in digital exhibition; now with the acquisition of New Video the company has established partnerships with all major digital platforms enabling CEG to do a variety of releases, from traditional releases to day-and-date releases to unique recurring in-theatre programming.

Reichert last served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Publicity for Magnolia Pictures, where he steered all marketing and publicity initiatives for theatrical releases including “Man on Wire,” “Jesus Camp,” “No End In Sight,” “The World’s Fastest Indian,” “Flawless and Woman Thou Art Loosed.” He helped launch the revered Magnet genre label and its initial slate of titles, including “The Host” and “Let the Right One In,” and marketed the company’s first experiments in Day-and-Date releasing. Additional experience includes senior-level marketing and sales positions at IFC Films (“Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work,” “The Killer Inside Me,” “Sleepwalk With Me”) and Cowboy Pictures. Reichert is co-founder of Reverse Shot, the quarterly independently published film journal. He also wrote and directed the feature-length documentary, “Gerrymandering” (2010 Tribeca Film Festival premiere). At CEG, Reichert will lead all theatrical marketing efforts.

Prior to her new role at CEG, Bruder was Senior Director of Marketing at New Video where she oversaw all of the company’s distribution businesses, including physical, digital, theatrical and corporate initiatives. As Head of Digital Sales & Marketing from 2007-2011, Bruder was instrumental in the growth and development of New Video’s digital distribution, releasing 1400 independent feature films and hundreds of television seasons, and securing partnerships with 13 new platforms and territories. Prior to New Video, she headed online marketing initiatives for KOCH Lorber Films, and managed campaigns for Focus Features and Universal Pictures at marketing firm Special Ops Media.
