EXCLUSIVE: Sterling Sulieman is set to recur on the new NBC comedy The New Normal, about a gay couple having a baby via a surrogate. He will play Clint, the Republican EMT brother of one of the guy’s assistant, Rocky (NeNe Leakes). Sulieman, repped by PMG and AEF, is currently recurring on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars and recently appeared in the Andrew Niccol-directed In Time.
Vinessa Shaw and Michael Wiseman (The Closer) have been cast in recurring roles on the upcoming CBS 1960s Las Vegas mob drama Vegas. Shaw, repped by ICM Partners and Thruline, will play casino owner Vincent Savino’s (Michael Chiklis) socially adept wife who has been wooed by her husband to reconcile and move to Vegas. Wiseman, repped by Pakula/King & Assoc., will play Joey Rizzo, the hot-headed right-hand man of elusive Chicago gangster Angelo Lombardi (Jonathan Banks). The pair travel out to visit Vegas as the guests of casino owner Savino (Chiklis) where he also will be reconnecting with his estranged daughter Mia (Sarah Jones).
Pedro Pascal (The Good Wife) and Fernanda Andrade (The Devil Inside) have landed recurring roles on the midseason ABC drama series Red Widow, starring Radha Mitchell as a housewife who takes on the mob and the FBI after her mobster husband is killer. Pascal, repped by Innovative Artists, will play Joe Crumb, a long-haired, tattooed artist who is deeply in love with Kat Lazarev (Jaime Ray Newman), but his joy in marrying her is tempered by his reservations about her Russian mob family. Andrade, repped by Genesis Entertainment Partners, will play Eva Ramos, a former agent who is a drug addict.
Broadway actress Katherine Tokarz has booked a recurring role on another upcoming ABC series comedy The Neighbors, set at a lush gated community populated by aliens. Tokarz, repped by BRS and Gartner/Green, will play Mary Lou Retton, one of the aliens. Tokarz, who did two episodes of another ABC comedy last season, Don’t Trust The B—-, was a member of the original cast of Rock of Ages on Broadway.
