Los Angeles, August 2, 2012 – GoDigital founder and CEO Logan Mulvey announced today an investment from Preferred Ventures, the digital media venture fund launched late last year by FreeCreditReport.com Founder and former Experian Interactive CEO Ed Ojdana and former Facebook Chief Privacy Officer and Founder of Kelly Investments Chris Kelly.
With the infusion of capital Ojdana will become Chairman of the Board. Mulvey will remain CEO and he and Kelly will join the reconfigured Board of Directors. “The financial and intellectual resources provided by Preferred Ventures will fuel our growth as digital distribution continues to evolve. There could be no better moment to secure this influx of capital.”, said Mulvey. “Ed and Chris have proven themselves as successful entrepreneurs and I am eager to build a toptier company with their guidance and expertise.”
GoDigital‘s recent releases and acquisitions include the LAFF documentary UNRAVELED directed by Marc H. Simon about lawyer, philanthropist, and white collar criminal, Marc Dreier, the 2012 SXSW film KING KELLY and THE NEW YEAR which was an official Sundance selection.

The most recent collaboration between Iwashina, Ojdana and Kelly was the hit documentary JIRO DREAMS OF SUSHI. The film just finished a successful theatrical run by Magnolia Pictures and is now available in stores on DVD and Blu-Ray and via download and streaming on iTunes, Netflix and other digital platforms.
