(Los Angeles, CA, July 23, 2012) –Cinedigm Digital Cinema Corp. (NASDAQ: CIDM) today announced Bob Fiorella has been appointed to the corporate position of Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer/Entertainment. Fiorella will report to Cinedigm Chairman and CEO Chris McGurk and COO Adam Mizel.
Prior to this appointment, Fiorella oversaw the operations, strategy and theatrical acquisitions at CEG. He was also the architect of the Company’s restructuring and repositioning including targeting, engaging and ultimately leading due diligence and deal analysis on the acquisition of New Video Group, the largest worldwide digital aggregator of independent content and a leading distributor of quality entertainment.

With the recent acquisition of New Video, Cinedigm has created a new, full service end-to-end digital releasing studio, enabling the company to acquire and distribute independent films and specialty content both theatrically and through digital, mobile and home media platforms.
With over 20 years of strategy, finance, and operating experience in the media and entertainment industry, Bob Fiorella held senior leadership roles at The Walt Disney Studios, Universal Pictures, and 20th Century Fox prior to joining Cinedigm. Most recently SVP and CFO of 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, Fiorella has been an advisor to several new media companies including Clear-Media and ZillionTV and has served on the Board of Directors of Movie Gallery, Inc., a specialty retail company. Having consulted for over 30 different investment banks, private equity firms and hedge funds, Fiorella is an industry expert in both new and traditional media businesses. A graduate of Cornell University, he received his MBA from The Anderson School of Management at the University of California Los Angeles.
