And although it was a win for Miss Rhode Island, the 62nd Annual Miss USA Pageant (1.8/5) slid 18% according to fast nationals from last year’s contest. Broadcast live, Miss USA drew in just more than 6.1 million viewers. NBC took the night among adults 18-49. CBS, which went with a new 60 Minutes and a night of repeats, won a tight victory in total viewers with 5.975 million to NBC’s 5.780 million.

60 Minutes (1.4/5) was flat with its last show two weeks ago, drawing the biggest audience of the night with just over 9.5 million total viewers. Also at 7 PM, Dateline (0.9/3) was up 29% from its last show three weeks back. At 7 PM, ABC ran a repeat of America’s Funniest Home Videos (1.2/4).
