Two And A Half Men‘s first demo victory over NBC’s The Voice two weeks ago was not a fluke. In the two shows’ followup original-to-original face-off last night, Men (3.7/9 in adults 18-49 vs. 3.5/9 for The Voice) won again, this time by a wider margin. Men, which featured Kathy Bates as Charlie Harper’s ghost, was even with the fast nationals for its last new episode two weeks ago (down a tenth from the final), while The Voice was down 5% from its fast national last week (8% from the final) to hit a performance show low. There were two other firsts for CBS last night. Rookie 2 Broke Girls (3.5/9) tied The Voice for the first time and CBS finished No.1 on the night in 18-49 with regularly scheduled programming for the first time since The Voice launched on Monday after the Super Bowl. 2 Broke Girls was up 6% from the fast national for its last original two weeks ago, 3% from the final. Similarly, How I Met Your Mother (3.2/10) was up two tenths from its fast national two weeks ago (one from the final) as the 8-9:30 PM CBS Monday comedies almost always get adjusted up in the finals. Mike & Molly (3.2/8) was up a tenth from two weeks ago, Hawaii Five-0 (2.5/6) was down a tenth from its last original three weeks ago. Following The Voice, NBC’s Smash (1.8/5) was down 10% from last week to a new series low.
ABC’s Dancing With The Stars (2.7/7) was down 10% from its fast national last week (16% from the final) to a new performance show low. Castle (2.4/6) was up 9% from the fast national for its last original two weeks ago. (As they normally do, Dancing will likely be adjusted up and Castle down in the finals.) Fox’s dramas were both down. Bones (1.9/6) slipped 10%, House (2.1/5) 9%. The CW’s Gossip Girl (0.6/2) and Hart Of Dixie (0.6/1) were both up a tenth in 18-49 from last week.
