New York, NY (March 20, 2012) – Fuse, the national music television network of The Madison Square Garden Company, today announced its development slate featuring a variety of comedy, documentary, animated and scripted series all rooted in music. The slate reflects Fuse’s robust development pipeline, with many more deals to come, as the network furthers its commitment to adding original programming to the existing music-focused lineup.

“Ambassadors of Rock”
“Ambassadors of Rock,” is a reality show which explores the world of music fans who are so devoted, they invite touring bands that they don’t know to crash in their homes, sleep in their beds, drink their beer and eat all of their food. “Ambassadors of Rock” is executive produced by Donita Sparks & Robert Fagan of 2 Way Mirror and Bobby Pura (“Jackass: The Movie,” “The Fabulous Life Presents”).
This half-hour scripted musical comedy, starring Marcus Paulk (“Redtails”) and Quinton Aaron (“The Blind Side”), is a behind-the-scenes look at the wild antics of the staff and clients at a high-end recording studio. “Blaze Studios” is executive produced by Claude Brooks (“Lyricist Lounge Show,” “Second Time Around”) and written by Tracy Gamble (“8 Simple Rules,” “Home Improvement”), Angela Yarborough (“Reed Between the Lines,” “The Bernie Mac Show”) and Claude Brooks.
This documentary takes a look into the world of Bounce, the high energy hip hop sub-genre hailing from New Orleans. This series focuses on the stars of the New Orleans scene as they try to take Bounce to the next level of success. “Bounce” is produced by World of Wonder (“Tori And Dean,” “Rupaul’s Drag Race,” “Million Dollar Listing”).
“Untitled Eric Balfour Project”
This mockumentary series created by and starring Eric Balfour (“Haven,” “The Spirit,” “Six Feet Under,” “24”), follows a young band in Los Angeles as they struggle for success. The series is executive produced by Eric Balfour and Stephanie Varella for Off The Grid Entertainment.
After hitting it big with a viral video, a musical duo tries to capitalize on its success in this half-hour scripted musical comedy from creator and writer Erik Weiner (“Robot Chicken,” “Unscripted”). “Major” is produced by Dakota Pictures. Executive Producer Troy Miller developed the project and will also direct. Erik Weiner is managed by Vincent Nastri of Bleecker Street Films.
“Off Beat,” hosted by comedian Mike E. Winfield (“The Office”), is a clip show that highlights the funniest and most outrageous music-themed videos and viewer-created clips that the Internet has to offer. “Off Beat” is produced by FishBowl Worldwide Media. Executive Producers are Vin Di Bona, Bruce Gersh, Susan Levison, Beth Greenwald, and Murray Valeriano.
This half-hour scripted comedy follows a group of students at a college radio station in the early ‘80s as they find their identity in a new wave of music. “Radio Free” is written and executive produced by Gerald Cuesta, Michael Cuesta (“Homeland,” “Dexter,” “True Blood”), with Michael Stipe (R.E.M.), and Sandy Stern (“Being John Malkovich,” “Saved!”) also executive producing.
“Warped Roadies” is a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of the Vans Warped Tour as it travels across the country with more than 60 bands. This series will follow the wild lives of the crazy crew who keep the tour rolling from city to city. “Warped Roadies” is produced by Magilla Entertainment (“Bayou Billionaires,” “Moonshiners”, “Long Island Medium”).
