Fifteen Minutes Showbiz PR Names CEO

Fifteen Minutes flackery chairman Howard Bragman just sent this email to colleagues:

Dear clients, friends and colleagues:

Earlier this week, when it was announced that Bill Harrison would be the new CEO of Fifteen Minutes, a lot of people reached out and asked what was next for me.

There is a news release going out later today, but I wanted you to hear it from me first.

Today I am truly excited to announce my new role: I am the Vice Chairman of For those of you who don’t know, is the world’s leading online reputation management company. If you get a moment check out their website. They are an amazing company in many ways. As anyone in my position knows, wherever reputations are made, they live online. And the ability to manage your online reputation is not just appealing, it’s a necessity in today’s media environment. Founder and CEO Michael Fertik is a visionary man and I share his passion for giving everyday people the tools to manage their online lives, their personal information and fix misperceptions.

I want to make it clear that I am not leaving Fifteen Minutes, the PR firm I founded and love. I still remain majority owner and Chairman, I will continue to work out of our offices and I remain committed to its successful future.

To my clients: I am still here. I will continue to work with some amazing people and help shape their public lives. There is and will be a place for traditional PR and I think my ability to navigate both worlds will be a strength.

I will also continue with my regular television appearances on “Good Morning America,” “Entertainment Tonight,” and HLN’s “Showbiz Tonight.”

I am grateful to you for your support through the years and look forward to an even brighter future.

With gratitude,
