LOS ANGELES, CA – June 22, 2011 – Management 360 today announced the addition of two new partners – Darin Friedman and Eryn Brown – a development that exemplifies Management 360’s commitment to literary as a core strength for the company and the many high-profile projects it drives. Friedman has been with Management 360 since its inception in 2002 and has been an integral part of the company. Brown joins from Industry Entertainment and brings with her an impressive list of writers and directors.
“Darin is a talented and accomplished manager and his elevation to partner is in line with our tradition of cultivating and promoting talent from within the company,” said the partners of Management 360. “Eryn is a highly-respected manager with whom we have worked closely on various projects over the years. We are thrilled to bring her on board. Our literary department is one of the strongest in the business and our clients see the results of that every day.”
Friedman represents or co-represents a diverse list of film and television writers and filmmakers such as two-time Academy Award winner Mark Boal (“The Hurt Locker”), Will Beall (“The Gangster Squad”), Asger Leth (“Man On A Ledge”), Ryan Fleck & Anna Boden (“It’s Kind of a Funny Story”), Kieran & Michele Mulroney (“Sherlock Holmes 2″), Matt Tyrnauer (“Valentino: The Last Emperor”), Joshua Zetumer (“Robocop”), Dante Harper (“All You Need Is Kill”), and Peter Craig (“The Town”). He began his career on the production side of Management 360 shortly after graduating from Duke University.
Brown will continue to manage Dan Fogelman (“Cars,” “ Tangled,” “Crazy, Stupid, Love”), Phil Johnston (“Cedar Rapids”), Brian Gatewood & Alex Tanaka (“The Sitter”), Mikael Håfström (“1408,” “The Rite”), Brian Nelson (“Hard Candy,” “Devil”), Bruce Eric Kaplan (“Six Feet Under,” “Girls”), Delia Ephron (“Hanging Up,” “Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants”), and novelist Joshua Ferris (Then We Came To The End, The Unnamed). A California native and Stanford graduate, Brown was previously a partner at Industry Entertainment where she worked for 13 years. Prior to that, she worked at New Line Cinema.
The new partners’ clients join a formidable list of writers and directors that includes David Benioff, Marc Forster, James Mangold, McG, and Billy Ray.
This latest announcement comes on the heels of considerable expansion of the literary side of Management 360, with the recent additions of Jill McElroy and Mary Lee (previously a film executive at Mandate Pictures) to an executive team that includes newly promoted lit manager Jennifer Graham and Ben Forkner, a development and production executive who, like Friedman, joined Management 360 on day one.
