EXCLUSIVE: I’ve learned that Warner Bros. has shuttered its relatively newly formed International Film Acquisitions division, which was topped by ex-New Line International president Camela Galano. She had moved to Warner Bros. when New Line was absorbed. UPDATE: Actually, Warner Bros slipped this through at the end of 2010 without making any announcement. Here’s tonight’s statement in response to my story: “In a move designed to streamline operations internationally, Warner Bros is disbanding its International Film Acquisitions business unit as part of long-term planning for continued growth.”
