NEW YORK (March 30, 2011) — Scott Koondel has been appointed Senior Vice President, Corporate Licensing and Distribution for CBS Corporation. In his new role, Koondel will work closely with CBS divisions across the Company to optimize the value of domestic distribution agreements for CBS-owned content, as well as content for which CBS has obtained format and distribution rights. He will report to Joseph Ianniello, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, CBS Corporation.
Koondel will also continue in his current role as President of Distribution for CBS Television Distribution, reporting to John Nogawski, President of CBS Television Distribution. In this position, Koondel leads the Company’s domestic sales of off-network programming to cable and digital media platforms. His efforts have encompassed programming assets from CBS Studios, CBS News, SHOWTIME and CBS Films, as well as a vast library of past series.
