EXCLUSIVE: Without a Trace co-star Poppy Montgomery is returning to CBS as the star of the network’s untitled Ed Redlich/John Bellucci pilot. The project, which will be directed by The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo helmer Niels Arden Oplev, centers on a female NYPD detective (Montgomery) who possesses the special ability to remember everything and, although a gift in her job, it’s also a curse in her personal life. In addition to CBS, the pilot reunites Montgomery with Redlich, who served as executive producer/showrunner on Without a Trace for the crime drama’s first couple of seasons.
Montgomery, repped UTA and Framework, is currently in Vancouver, filming Strange Magic, a Lifetime biopic of JK Rowling, in which she portrays the Harry Potter author.

Glad this show is untitled now because the original title, The Remember, was the single worst title I have ever heard. My suggestion: “Never Forget.” You’re welcome, CBS.

I am so glad Poppy may be heading back to series television. I realize it is still just a pilot that has not been scheduled, but with her on board, I would take bets it will be. She was the real reason I watched “Without A Trace”. Talented and attractive. As to one word series names, how about “MindFull”?

I love Poppy and I’m excited to see her back on TV, as well (well, if her show gets picked up). She’s also an excellent choice to star as JK in that Lifetime movie!
This is the first time I ever saw Poppy Montgomery. A part of the show was filmed at the Padded Wagon Moving company. From what I could see of her I liked the way she carried herself. She appeared very relaxed and showed me a lot of class even though she probably was’nt aware of it. I hope the series gets accepted by CBS.
