EXCLUSIVE: With word circulating that Viggo Mortensen is in talks to play one of the title characters in the Rupert Sanders-directed Snow White and the Huntsman for Universal Pictures, will Twilight Saga‘s Kristen Stewart end up with playing Snow White? Though the studio has been testing young actresses and no one is set, there are persistent rumors that Stewart looms large as a potential lead. Mortensen surfaces in the lead of that movie in a role that had been rumored for Michael Fassbender. But Fassbender never had an offer and he committed to the Ridley Scott-directed Prometheus with Noomi Rapace and Charlize Theron. Ironically, Theron is also starring in Huntsmen as the Evil Queen. Oh, please no! I can’t stand any of those “actors” and I use the term loosely. Whether it be “The Road” or “On The Road”, this is a horrible threesome. I cannot say for sure which one bores me the most with their flat, mundane unemotional acting. The only reason why Mortensen was even up for an Oscar in Eastern Promises is because he mixed full frontal nudity with violence. Hollywood is creepy and sick!
She’d be insane not to do this movie. Rupert is a David Fincher-level talent and his take on the material is going to be incredibly original.

Havent seen her in Twilight series, but she was really good in Into the Wild and Adventureland. And i could definitely see her and Viggo having an interesting chemistry. Good choice
She is present in %90 of the film time in Twilight. That is not easy to do. Very natural, delicate acting. I have seen her this year in “Welcome to the Rileys”. Good , better than good acting.Wish her the best.
Maat, you’re entitled to your opinion, but I have to strongly disagree. Stewart is the only salvageable thing about the Twilight films and she’s been strong in several other films I’ve seen including Adventureland and The Runaways.
I could see her in this and it would be a good next step for her. Working alongside Mortensen and Theron being the best thing about the project.

NO! Please not Kristen Stewart! I have not seen any of the Twilight films. But I have seen some of her other films and I not impressed with her work. I hope that with the recent Sundance buzz someone like Felicity Jones gets the part. Or Emily Browning.
I hope she does it. If not shes crazy, its a good opportunity. All the hate she gets for twilight is undeserved. She does the best she can with a terrible script and story. No one could make bella swan interesting. She plays the character just like it is in the crappy book so its not her fault. She was great in Adventureland and the Runaways in my opinion.
She’s got a look that’s classically beautiful paired with a modern attitude, perfect for the retelling of an old tale, and she’s proven her chops in films besides Twilight. Hope to see her in this.
