EXCLUSIVE: Heroes alumna Dawn Olivieri has landed a lead opposite Don Cheadle in the Showtime comedy pilot House of Lies. The dark comedy project written by Matthew Carnahan based on the book by Martin Kihn, centers on Marty (Cheadle), a self-loathing highly successful management consultant from a top-tier firm who is never above using any means (or anyone) necessary to get his clients the information they want. Olivieri, repped by APA and Mosaic, will play Monica, Marty’s crazy, pill-popping ex-wife and biggest professional competition as her consulting firm is No.1 compared to Marty’s No. 2. House of Lies is one of 2 pilots greenlighted by new Showtime Entertainment president David Nevins, along with drama Homeland, which stars Claire Danes and Damian Lewis.

Was she the tattoo chick on the last season of Heroes?
I’m sure it was pitched as “It’s like Ari Gold…but he’s black!!!”
Yeah, go Dawn!! She’s gonna kick butt!! Congrats!! =)
She is a great up and coming actress, she is also due to appear in True Blood Season 3. I wish the new show all the success it deserves
WOW! I remember her from that reality show when she would boot the guys by saying “Playah…you’ve been played.” AMAZING GIG FOR HER!
I’m with smartman — Who?! … Don Deserves some top A-level talent to work with not some C-level pinnup that’s getting by on her looks!
Shesh!
Congrats to Don Cheadle. He and Jeffrey Wright have to be the 2 most underrated, underappreciated talents in the business.
