Deadline told you that CAA hired Kami Putnam-Heist away from WME, but now one of her clients has left her behind. NBC Chuck‘s Zachary Levi who just voiced the male lead in Tangled and whose name comes up for a few leading men film roles has just signed with ICM. This followed a very competitive round of meetings with each of the major agencies who consider him a film/TV crossover. He also just received a Critics’ Choice Award nomination for his performance with Mandy Moore on the song “I See The Light.” Levi is directing on Chuck now and wants to do more. An ICM team of 6 agents will rep him as both an actor and director and in both television and film. He continues to be managed by Leanne Coronel and represented by law firm McKuin Frankel Whitehead.

That’s interesting! Seems like a career killer to me. Maybe he wanted to be ICM’s only other star. John Hamm is still there but I hear he is taking meetings.
Great sign for ICM. The cut-throat corporate culture over there makes for very aggressive, very talented agents.
Is this guy a complete Idiot? Signing with ICM? did an agent over there promise you things …things that—-trust me —he will never deliver! yes you are an idiot and Sd is right….career killer…. You’re not leading man material either…
(Looks like he is trying a little too hard in that photo.) Chuck might have started off okay but it’s too silly now. He might as well try some different things.
Actually, Chuck has just gotten better and better – with other characters developing other storylines (some hilarious!) around the lead character —
Seems like Zac didn’t get a good vibe at CAA. My guess is that they didnt see him as leading man or head director (in films) material. When they found out he was taking meetings, they promised him he would be a priority to them, but by then it was too late. ICM came at him saying all the right things and gave him 6 agents to pound the pavement and find good opportunites for him. Good move Zac! Chuck is gonna only last so long and your stock is on the rise in tinsletown. You’re 30, and you probably needed a game-changer/shakeup like this. I hope ICM lands you some great auditions here soon and you get a good role while Chuck is on hiatus.
Good for ICM. This guy is incredibly talented, and the agency will do a great job for him.
Guy needs to learn how to put a hat on straight before I’ll bother paying attention.
Good move. Chuck probably won’t get renewed past this season and he needs to start getting movie work or find another tv show.
That picture is like 4 years old. It’s a little bit nuts to make judgements based on that :)
