APA flies under the radar. Even when I write agency biz, it rarely makes news. So I was surprised when a top tenpercenter there sent in this email and video. That must have been some retreat — lots of drinking the Kool-Aid:
“I’m back and have recovered from our retreat at the St. Regis Hotel in Dana Point. It was wonderful to bring all the offices together and hear all the departments talk about the enormous growth of our company. In just the past five years, we have doubled our revenues, which is amazing considering we went through a work stoppage during one of those years. In nearly every field that we are involved in, our clients are at the pinnacle of their profession: From Ron White, Craig Ferguson and Lewis Black in comedy, to the Kardashians, Kendra Wilkinson and Bethany Frankel in branded lifestyle, to representing Time, Inc, Readers Digest and Skyy Spirits in Corporate Consulting, to having … Billy Gardell starring in ‘Mike and Molly’ and Holt McCallany starring in ‘Lights Out‘ not to mention having Cory Monteith starring in ‘Glee’. Plus, we have 30 reality shows on the air that we have either packaged or sold, several scripted packaged series on the air including ‘Sanctuary’, and ‘The Gates’, with 60 plus scripted pilots in development. We are major.
“I’ve attached a link to a reel we put together for the troops about defining the new APA which I thought you might enjoy”:
