If repeats of CBS’ The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men are the two highest-rated series on Monday, it’s a sign that summer is here. Encores of the two sitcoms dominated a quiet Memorial Day broadcast lineup with a 2.9 rating/8 share and a 2.6/7 in the 18-49 demographic, respectively. ABC, the only network to air original entertainment programming, ran The Bachelorette (2.4/7), which was down 14% from its in-season premiere last week. The second cycle of the network’s reality series True Beauty at 10 PM debuted with a 2.1/6, down 34% from the first season premiere in January 2009.

NBC (2.4/7, 5.9 million viewers overall) won the night in 18-49 with its coverage of Game 2 of the NHL Stanley Cup finals. CBS (2.1/6 in 18-49, 7.7 million viewers) was No. 1 in viewers with all-repeats. ABC (2.3/7, 6.9 million) was second in 18-49. Fox (0.9/3, 3.1 million) was distant fourth with reruns of Lie to Me (0.9/3) and The Good Guys (0.9/2).
