Brighton-based sales agent Stealth Media and financier Premiere Picture hope to eventually raise $73 million for discounting tax credits worldwide. Premiere Picture recently put money into The Jones, starring Demi Moore and David Duchovny. The sales agent has taken on $20 million French 3D CGI cartoon Miniscule, based on the local TV series. The producer is Philippe Delarue of Paris-based Futurikon and the director is Thomas Szabo. Premiere Picture will co-finance.
Stealth has also announced two new sub-labels, both of which will finance, produce and distribute 3-4 movies a year each. Stealth Indie will concentrate on features from up-and-coming directors. Its first production will be Everywhere & Nowhere, reuniting Kidulthood director Menhaj Huda and its star Noel Clarke. Production is due to start on June 14 in London for 5 weeks. Meanwhile, the Stealth Asia sub-label that plans to make 3-4 movies a year. Hong Kong-based Mike Leeder will run Stealth Asia.
