– Universal Pictures International has taken UK and Australia/New Zealand rights to PJ Hogan’s latest Toni Collette comedy Mental. Hogan begins filming Mental in Australia in January. The film reunites him with Collette for the first time since Muriel’s Wedding. CAA is handling North American rights.

– Warner Bros has taken Morgan Creek International’s Dream House for five territories: UK, France, Spain, Australia/New Zealand and Latin America. Jim Sheridan’s thriller stars Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts.

– Sony Pictures has bought all rights to Joe Wright’s $30 million Hanna outside of North America, the UK, Australia/New Zealand, Greece, Israel, Middle East and CIS. Focus will retain these. Cate Blanchett, Saoirse Ronan and Eric Bana star in the thriller, which is in its final month of shooting. Ronan plays a girl brought up by her father to be the perfect assassin.

– Optimum Releasing in the UK and Italy’s Lucky Red have both pre-bought Andrew Dominik’s Blonde, which will star Naomi Watts as Marilyn Monroe. Wild Bunch is selling.

– Lionsgate UK has taken on Ralph Fiennes’ Coriolanus, now shooting in Serbia, and David Cronenberg’s A Dangerous Method, which has started filming in Germany.
