Good news for Chuck fans: the bubble NBC dramedy averaged a 2.1 rating/6 share among adults 18-49 and 6.0 million viewers overall, matching its best 18-49 rating and drawing its largest audience in almost two months. With CBS’ Monday series mostly in reruns, the entire NBC Monday lineup got a boost, even NBC’s doomed freshman paramedic drama Trauma (1.6/4, 5.3 million), which delivered its best 18-49 number since November.

Meanwhile, ABC’s new comedy Romantically Challenged (2.7/7, 10.0 million) slipped a modest 7% from its lackluster premiere last week. For comparison, its lead-in, Dancing With the Stars (4.3/12, 20.2 million), was down 10% week-to-week.

On the strength of Dancing, still easily the top program on Monday, ABC won the night in total viewers while Fox was No. 1 in 18-49 with new House (4.1/12, 10.6 million) and 24 (2.8/7, 9.2 million), both flat from last week. At the CW, One Tree Hill returned to originals with its best female demo ratings since January.
