Emma_Stone1EXCLUSIVE: Zombieland‘s Emma Stone has gotten offers for two studio leads in the span of a week. Stone has been set to star with Steve Carell and Ryan Gosling in the untitled Dan Fogelman-scripted marital crisis comedy that John Requa and Glen Ficarra will direct at Warner Bros. She then got a DreamWorks offer to play the lead in The Help, the movie adaptation of the Kathryn Stockett novel about African-American domestic servants and their wealthy white employers in pre-Civil Rights era Mississippi. Tate Taylor wrote the script and will direct, and Stone will play Skeeter, a young woman who returns with the intention of writing a tell-all, fueled by the stories of the servants. Some of the momentum comes from her work in the Will Gluck-directed Screen Gems film Easy A, which tested strongly for the studio.

She’s repped by WME.
