According to an internal Paramount memo from vice chairman Rob Moore: “Dennis Maguire has been promoted to President of Paramount Pictures Home Entertainment Worldwide. In this role, Dennis holds operating responsibility for the sales, marketing and distribution of home entertainment content for the Paramount Motion Picture Group in the United States and the division’s 12 offices in other territories. Dennis’ responsibilities also include oversight of Paramount Home Entertainment’s efforts on behalf of MTV Network Properties, CBS, PBS, Hasbro, and fulfillment services for DreamWorks Animation Home Entertainment. The promotion is effective immediately.” What this means is that Maguire, who has served the last 3 years as president of Paramount international division is now assuming worldwide responsibilities, and there will no longer be separate presidents of domestic and international. He replaces Kelly Avery, who left in May.
