There’s so much other news that I’m getting off the subject of agents for the next 24 hours. But Endeavor seems to be sensitive to any implication that a) a rash of recent client departures are related to the merger with William Morris, or b) there’s a wholesale exodus out of Endeavor, or c) it wanted to keep those clients. (“They didn’t meet the profile we want to have,” an insider tells me.) So here is Endeavor’s spin: Jason Patric hadn’t been a client of the agency’s since March. Mira Sorvina and Alexander Skarsgard had been clients of Daisy Wu, who was let go by Endeavor. The agency terminated the relationship with Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. Endeavor maintains it never repped author Mary Higgins Clark despite CAA’s claim.
