Panel to Empower Members as DIY New Media Booms

Event: Tuesday, February 17 – SAG’s James Cagney Board Room

What: Screen Actors Guild will offer its first live streaming webcast to members on February 17 in the form of a new media panel discussion. The “Now-Media Do It Yourself Symposium” will focus on how actors can promote their careers through new media. The event is in association with SAGIndie, the SAG National New Media Department, the SAG Affirmative Action/Diversity Department and the SAG Contracts Department. While discussion will integrate the unique perspectives of LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender) actors, all SAG members will be able to take away practical advice from the event – many from the comfort of their own homes.
