I look forward to Cynthia Littleton’s new TV biz blog, Littleton On Air, which starts next week in Variety. But I hate that trade’s sudden Internet strategy — and I use that term loosely — of sending out emails labeled “Breaking News” to subscribers who open them only to discover the supposedly hot development is just another ho-hum column from Peter Bart or Anne Thompson. Stop it!
