At the DGA, Scorsese bested Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu (Babel), Bill Condon (Dreamgirls), Jonathan Dayton/Valerie Faris (Little Miss Sunshine), Stephen Frears (The Queen). Likely, finally, it’s Marty’s year.
